COVID19 Crisis – Practical Questions every business owner should be asking themselves right now to ensure business continuity and disaster recovery
It is tough out there, everyone is concerned, business owners have not planned for a pandemic, (who knew we needed to).
I have had the privilege of working with many different organisations, in many different sectors and industries. I have worked in small business for over 25 years, I have employed many staff, I have gone through some major highs and some major lows.
I want to help people, I have been speaking with many businesses in the last few days, it is clear that there is not enough practical clear advice out there.
How can I help you?
- I am going to be doing regular live videos giving practical advice around getting through the Covid-19 Crisis (subscribe to my You Tube channel to ensure you get notified of more advice)
- Together with virtualDCS we have set up a support group
- I am making myself available to help you through this, ask me questions any time through any channel!
Yesterday I put my first video together, apologising now, it is a ramble, but it sets the scene for so many of us.

Local companies band together to launch an independent ‘Coronavirus Yorkshire Business Support Group’
The group brings together business leaders from a variety of industries that simply want to lend a helping hand to others throughout the COVID-19 crisis.
Offering free advice and guidance for businesses that are affected by the Coronavirus, the community has representatives from IT and Cloud Services, Communications and Marketing, Business Finance, Law and many more.
“We wanted to let struggling businesses know that they are not alone in this difficult time and that by working together and supporting each other, Yorkshire is strong enough to overcome COVID-19,” said Nikki Towler, joint founder of the Coronavirus Yorkshire Business Support Group.
What started as two businesses, virtualDCS and Fleek Marketing, wanting to make a difference has now turned into a coalition of businesses supporting each other. Many of which are offering their paid-for services for free to others during this difficult time.
“The LinkedIn and Facebook groups have only just gone live but they are already attracting plenty of traffic, and we’re receiving very positive feedback. It’s very rewarding for everyone involved as the aim has always been to provide the local business community with an easily accessible place for practical help and advice” continued Nikki.
If you’d like to join the fast-growing group, search for the ‘Coronavirus Yorkshire Business Support Network’ on Facebook and LinkedIn. More industry experts are joining daily and members putting forward free services to aid local businesses.
