THE BACKGROUND STORY
DCS is a Leeds cloud hosting, disaster recovery and cyber resilience business, and a Veeam Platinum Cloud Service Provider serving UK mid-market and enterprise IT teams. It traded as Virtual DCS until 2025.
The relationship started in 2011 with a single SEO workshop for the in-house marketing team. It grew into a long-running retainer covering SEO, content, paid search, partnerships, website builds, hosting and consultancy, and it has carried on through three ownership eras, including the company’s acquisition by private equity firm MonacoSol in March 2025.
After the acquisition the brief grew rather than shrank. A new contract was signed in July 2025, and DCS asked Fleek to deliver the rebrand from Virtual DCS to DCS and a full rebuild of the website on HubSpot, with search and AI visibility built into every template. The new site went live on 15 January 2026.
THE RESULTS
- 15 years of continuous work, 2011 to 2026, through three changes of ownership
- Contract renewed and expanded four months after the private equity acquisition
- Clicks on “dcs leeds” up 115% in the first quarter after the new site launched
- Clicks on “vdcs”, the old brand name, up 125% in the same quarter, so the rebrand kept its search demand
- Engagement rate up 55% and average visit length up 121%
